Jackson Hole

Snug in a valley between the Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges, the town of Jackson Hole was historically a hunting ground and later used for cattle ranching. Town Square, famed for its elk-antler arches and stagecoach rides, offers an Old West feel and a thriving arts and cultural scene. The town's proximity to the National Elk Refuge, Bridger Teton National Forest, as well as Grant Teton and Yellowstone National Parks makes it an ideal base for outdoor activities and communing with nature. Depending on the season, one can ski, snowboard, raft, hike, paraglide, and so much more. Perhaps the largest draw for the region is the natural beauty of the parks and the diverse wildlife. American bison, elk, grizzly and black bear, wolves, and moose are just the tip of the iceberg for wildlife viewing.

Head out today for a snowshoe adventure in Grant Teton National Park. The length and difficult of the experience will be tailored to your abilities as you explore the winter wonderland with your expert naturalist guide.

Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park & Sleigh Ride

Head out this morning with a naturalist guide to explore the wildlife of the Jackson Hole Valley and Grand Teton National Park, where many animals migrate for the winter. (This service is on a private basis.)

Later this afternoon, take a horse drawn sleigh ride to view up close the vast herd of elk that winter on the National Elf Refuge before visiting the National Museum of Wildlife Art with its impressive collection. (The sled experience is on a group basis.)

Dog Sledding Experience

This morning, experience a true northern past time with an introduction to dog sledding through the spectacular areas of Jackson Hole. You will even get a chance to drive the team, accompanied by your musher. Enjoy a light lunch in the mushers tent before returning back to your accommodations. (This service is on a private basis.)

Yellowstone Interior Day Trip

Today, journey into Yellowstone National Park by snow coach. In winter, Yellowstone's interior is only accessible by over-snow vehicles. You will witness the park's serene, winter beauty without the typical crowds. Arrive at Old Faithful in the afternoon and explore the geyser basin. Bison and other wildlife frequent the area to enjoy the warmth of the thermal features. Return to Jackson, arriving early evening. This is a full day of exploration lasting about 12 hours. Cross Country Skiing

Enjoy breakfast today and check out of your downtown accommodations before heading out for a morning of cross country skiing. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your ski-in, ski-out accommodations where you will be able to enjoy the next three nights just steps from the legendary Aerial Tram and the epic terrain of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. On the Slopes

Enjoy two full days with as much skiing, snowboarding, or relaxing as you would like from your ski-in, ski-out accommodations. Ski passes are not included and can be purchased online in advance or directly on the spot.
