Today, you will depart from Bergen at 8:00 AM to Balestrand by express boat from Norled. The boat trip heads north along the coast before turning east into the Sognefjord.
Upon arrival in Balestrand at 11:58 AM, you will make your own way to your accommodations.
This afternoon beginning at 12:10 PM, experience fjord landscapes and Bøyabreen glacier on the same day! The Fjord Cruise includes a visit to Bøyabreen glacier as well as Norwegian Glacier Museum in Fjærland. The Scenery in the Fjærlandsfjord is absolutely breathtaking. The narrow Fjærlandsfjord with its steep and forested mountain sides leads you to the edge of the majestic Jostedalen Glacier. On the boat tour, you may enjoy a delicious dinner, snacks, and beverages while cruising the fantastic Fjærlandsfjord. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area, and more than 100 different bird species have been observed in the Bøyaøyri Nature Reserve.
On arrival at Fjærland, the bus will take you to the Norwegian Glacier Museum. The Norwegian Glacier Museum is an interactive museum for the whole family, which gives you knowledge about glaciers and climate in new innovative ways. From the Norwegian Glacier Museum, the tour continues up to Bøyabreen glacier– a branch of Jostedalsbreen glacier. Here you can take some photos and see how the glacier presses itself into the landscape. The bus returns to Fjærland quay, and the sightseeing boat takes you back to Balestrand. The trip back gives you the chance to reflect on the fact that these fjords were shaped several thousand years ago by ice. Your day of adventure comes to a close at 4:45 PM. This morning at 11:58 AM, you will continue by boat on the Sognefjord, bringing you further inland to Flåm, arriving at 1:40 PM.
At 4:07 PM, you will board your Flåm Railway train to Myrdal, arriving at 5:07 PM.
The Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana) winds its way from Myrdal to Flåm, 865 meters below, nestled in the innermost corner of the Aurlandfjord. Each year, this exciting stretch of railway attracts people from all corners of the world, making the Flåm Railway one of Norway's major and most spectacular tourist attractions.
The train journey provides some of Norway's wildest and most magnificent scenery. On the 20-kilometer long train ride you can see rivers that cut through deep ravines, waterfalls cascade down the side of steep, snow-capped mountains and mountain farms that cling dizzily to sheer slopes. At the foot of the mountains you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Flåm Valley and admire the majestic Aurlandfjord, a branch of Norway's longest fjord, the Sognefjord.
From Myrdal at 5:40 PM, you will travel with the Bergen Railway to Oslo. The 5-hour journey on the Bergen railway is classed as one of the finest train journeys in the world! It connects the two largest cities in Norway and shows the diversity of the Norwegian landscape.

Oslo’s on the move. With the recently opened MUNCH Museum, Deichmann Library and National Museum, Norway’s capital has become a rich cultural hub. These new additions to the skyline are an architecture lover’s dream, and they fit perfectly between the Opera House and the Barcode. Nature is never far away in Oslo, and you can get to a quaint forest lake or the famous ski jump Holmenkollen in less than 20 minutes on the metro from the city centre. The city is built around the Oslofjord, so it’s easy to visit one of the charming islands. Then there’s the food! With award-winning restaurants and coffee shops seemingly around every corner, Oslo is fast becoming one of Europe’s most tastebud tantalizing destinations.
Today, a certified local guide will pick you up at your hotel for a 3 hour sightseeing tour through the city of Oslo & the harbor! The main sights include the Royal Palace, the Parliament (Stortinget), the National Theatre, the City hall, Akershus Fortress and the harbor area of Aker Brygge. It is possible to continue by boat to the peninsula of Bygdøy, with its many museums such as the Fram museum or the open air folk museum. Please note, entrances are not included. Enjoy today exploring Oslo at your leisure. You may like to check out the Oslo Opera House and take a walk on the inviting roof overlooking Oslo Fjord. The Edvard Munch Museum also has an excellent collection and stunning views of the fjord from the upper floors.
This morning at 8:02 AM, you will depart from Oslo by train. The journey heads north past Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake, the Olympic City of Lillehammer and through Gudbrandsdalen Valley.
You will then change to the Rauma Railway in Dombås, to reach Åndalsnes. Please note, the train station in Dombås is very small- your next train is located across the platform. From Dombås you will continue on the spectacular Rauma Railway along the Rauma River all the way to Åndalsnes. The railway is 114 km long and offers amazing views of the passing scenery. The train will run especially slowly through the most spectacular scenery, including the Kylling Bridge, the most famous and photographed railway bridge made of stone in Norway!
Upon arrival to Åndalsnes at 1:29 PM, you will make your own way to your accommodations.
Let the gondola transport you to Nesaksla Mountain, 708 meters above sea level while enjoying a 360 degree view epic of majestic peaks and deep fjords. This afternoon at 1:40 PM, you will depart from Åndalsnes and head to the beautiful town of Ålesund. The bus journey takes you along the Romsdalsfjord to Vestnes and then over the rugged Ørskogfjellet to Ålesund.
Upon arrival to Ålesund at 3:45 PM, it's less than a 10 minute walk to your accommodations.
Alesund is one of the most beautiful cities in Norway.It’s known for the art nouveau architectural style in which most of the town was rebuilt after a fire in 1904, as documented at the Jugendstilsenteret museum. There are panoramic views of Ålesund’s architecture, the surrounding archipelago and fjords from the Mount Aksla lookout. The best way to explore this part of the city is on foot and your local guide will tell you everything about the history of this place. (This service is on a private basis.)
This tour by fast-speed ferry and bus takes you from Ålesund via Hareid and Fosnavåg to the bird island of Runde.
The island is a popular destination all year round but is spectacular in the summer due to its teeming bird-life. Runde is located right at next to the ocean with about 150 permanent residents. In the season there are approximately 100,000 seabirds on the island, most of them live on the bird mountain. Around 80 species have been found breeding, and more than 300 species have been registered on the bird island. The bird mountain is the southernmost in Norway and is the most species-rich seabird area in the country. There is an active birdlife all year on the island, and in the winter you can study the toughest species, which thrive in the harsh and wild climate. It is also possible to see the colonies by hiking up the mountains along marked paths. It is important to remember that conservation regulations apply due to the vulnerable nature. The area is fantastic for diving and fishing, and also offer great opportunities for hiking.(This service is on a group basis.)

This morning at 9:50 AM, you will set out by bus on an exciting adventure to your first destination of the day- Kristiansund. This scenic journey takes you from Ålesund to Molde, then finally to Kristiansund via what is often described as the world’s most beautiful road- the Atlantic Road. Enjoy the view of the Atlantic Road and the fascinating surroundings from the bus! Along the way, you have some time in Molde to walk around this charming town between the fjord and the hills. Molde offers a magnificent view of the fjord and the mountains on the other side, and has a multitude of shops, cafés, etc.
You will arrive to Kristiansund at 3:11 PM. This is Norway’s klippfisk (cliff fish) town, with rich traditions for bacalao and other klippfisk dishes, that are served in several restaurants in town. Kristiansund also has a varied cultural offering and a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. From “Varden” you have a splendid view of the town and if you want to further see Kristiansund by sea, you can take a trip with Sundbåten.
*Please note, this bus drives along the Atlantic Road but does not stop at the Eldhusøya service center or anywhere else close to the Atlantic Road sights. It is a public bus, running on a time schedule and there are no photo stops or other breaks during the trip.
From Kristiansund at 4:30 PM, you will depart for Trondheim.
This picturesque boat trip takes you from Kristiansund to Trondheim by sea on an express boat. The boat starts from the center of Kristiansund and takes you to Trondheim express boat terminal, located centrally in Trondheim. Between Kristiansund and Trondheim the boat makes several stops, including Edøya at Smøla, Kjørsvikbugen in Aure, Hitra island, and Brekstad at Ørlandet. The stops are short, so we ask our travelers to remain on board during the whole voyage. The ticket is only valid on the date and for the departure time specified on the ticket. From the boat you can see the coastal landscape of the middle part of Norway! You will see small and large islands, local communities and a fascinating seascape.

This afternoon at 12:45 PM, you will begin your Hurtigruten Cruise adventure! Once aboard, the ship sails northwest, passing the ochre-colored Kjeungskjær Lighthouse, islets, and rocky reefs. After that, you head towards charming Rørvik.
Early this morning, you will cross the Arctic Circle, beginning your Arctic tour of Norway! You will mark the moment with a traditional ceremony that’s sure to wake you up. Above the Arctic Circle, you can see the sun 24 hours a day in summer, while in winter, your chances of seeing the Northern Lights is significant.
At 10:00 AM you pull into Ørnes, this is close to Norway’s second-largest glacier, Svartisen. The pier here is popular for the Love Bench, where sweethearts have declared their lasting romance with a padlock. You will then sail to Bodø, the second largest city in Northern Norway, overlooked by the Børvass peaks. Admire fabulous street art or join an optional boat excursion to Saltstraumen, the world’s most powerful maelstrom.
That afternoon, the ship enters the Lofoten archipelago. The 1,000 meter-high Lofoten Wall is a stunning sight on the horizon, as if there to welcome you. Stamsund is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in the islands and busiest between January and April when Arctic cod, known locally as "skrei", swim from the Barents Sea in the north down to Vestfjord to spawn.
Come evening, when you see rows of traditional fisherman’s huts on stilts, known as rorbuer, you’ve arrived in the pretty harbor of Svolvær, the main town of the Lofoten Islands.

A tour made for nature enthusiasts! You will get the exciting opportunity to meet sea eagles and experience some of the most scenic landscapes in Lofoten. The tour starts from the quayside in Svolvær, and will take you through Raftsundet before entering Trollfjorden. This is some of the most dramatic scenery that Norway has to offer, and in an open boat you will get close to the elements. There is a large population of sea eagles in Raftsundet, and one of the highlights is without a doubt when a sea eagle circles a few meters above your head!
