Oslo’s on the move. With the recently opened MUNCH Museum, Deichmann Library and National Museum, Norway’s capital has become a rich cultural hub. These new additions to the skyline are an architecture lover’s dream, and they fit perfectly between the Opera House and the Barcode. Nature is never far away in Oslo, and you can get to a quaint forest lake or the famous ski jump Holmenkollen in less than 20 minutes on the metro from the city centre. The city is built around the Oslofjord, so it’s easy to visit one of the charming islands. Then there’s the food! With award-winning restaurants and coffee shops seemingly around every corner, Oslo is fast becoming one of Europe’s most tastebud tantalizing destinations.

As Norway’s capital has a near car-free center, the best way to experience Oslo tours is by bike! On this 3-hour tour, you’ll cover more ground on two wheels compared to walking and get a complete picture of Norway’s capital. You’ll learn about Norwegian culture, topics such as the social system, urban development, food culture, Norwegian politics and society, and the modern development of Oslo. Fjord Sightseeing

Embark on the classic Oslo Fjord sightseeing tour today! Pass through narrow sounds, idyllic bays and through a maze of islands with small summer houses. Oslo, with its superb location, offers unique opportunities on and around its fjord which stretches almost into the city center. Discover the scenery from a sightseeing boat. You’ll sail past numerous islands, including Hovedøya and the Dyna Lighthouse, through narrow inlets and into sheltered bays so that you can capture the capital on camera from different angles. You will pass the Opera House in Oslo, housing The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet ensemble. The boat then glides close to the peninsula of Bygdøy, with many interesting museums as well as beaches such as Huk. You can also see the Maritime Museum with its veteran sailing ships moored outside, and the impressive Fram Museum, housing the polar ship of the same name. (This service is on a group basis.)

Long Reindeer Sledding, Reindeer Feeding & Sami Culture

Enjoy a 25-30 minute sleigh ride as the reindeer guide you around the valley and along the coast. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to feed 300 of these magnificent animals before entering the gamme for a hot traditional meal cooked over the fire. Finish the day by gathering around the fire to listen to Sami history, stories and joiking (songs). (This service is on a group basis.)

This morning at 7:00 AM, it is time to make your way to the wilderness of Kilpisjärvi. After finishing breakfast at your hotel, you will depart by bus and leave the fjord landscapes of Tromsø behind. The comfortable coach will take you to the Finnish border and towards the baren tundra landscape that surrounds the village of Kilpisjärvi. (This service is on a group basis.)

Snowshoe Adventure

Skiing comes naturally to Finns, and kids usually get their first pair of skis as toddlers. In recent years the popularity of snowshoes has been growing quickly. Going uphill and downhill is surprisingly fun as snowshoes float nicely even on deep snow!

Kilpis Snowmobile Tour

Get ready for a snowmobile adventure! Prior to beginning, your guides will be sure to instruct you on how to operate the snowmobile. The first pit stop is at the border cairn of Finland, Sweden and Norway. T second leg will introduce you to the best sights around Kilpisjärvi! Enjoy exploring the tundra area surrounded by mighty fells. Please note, a thermal outfit, photos by the guide, hot drink and a pastry are included in your tour.

It is time to leave the lovely, quiet surroundings of the past days. Following breakfast at the hotel, at 10:50 AM your comfortable coach will take you further through the snowy tundra landscapes of Finnish Lapland. You will pass by the villages of Levi and Kittilä before you reach your destination at 5:25 PM. (This service is on a group basis.)

Thrill of Speed: Husky Safari

Friendly barks of the huskies welcome you to the local farm today! As soon as the safari of dogs departs from the farm, they quiet down, lock in and start to work. Enjoy the surrounding nature and the sledge ride in silence, truly taking in your otherworldly surroundings. Stop for a break in the stunning wilderness to take photos. Please note there is a two persons per drive team, but there is a possibility to change the driver along the way. The length of the trail is approx. 45-60 min and 7-10 km, as the weather conditions and the skills of the participants may affect the length of the ride. (This service is on a group basis.)

This evening, you will leave the Northern lights wonderland behind to make way towards the south. You will stay the night in your own private car, with an en-suite shower and toilet (please note, meals are not included). This very comfortable night train allows you to fully relax before arriving in the lively Finnish Capital Helsinki!

The Finnish capital of Helsinki (Helsingfors) is known for its great mixture of neo-classical buildings, orthodox style churches, chic bars and the restaurant scene. Alvar Aalto, a world renowned Finnish architect and designer has contributed to much of the functionalistic architecture in Helsinki that is loved and hated by so many. The lifestyle in the second-most northern capital city in the world is full of contrasts and activities in the form of hundreds of events and friendly people. Helsinki’s identity has been formed by cultural influences from both the East and West. The beauty of the surrounding nature blends seamlessly together with high-tech achievements, while old traditions mix with the latest contemporary trends. The city center has many beautiful parks, and the nearby forests offer an ideal setting for peaceful and quiet walks. Helsinki’s rhythm is laid back,yet at the same time refreshingly active in terms of both the number and quality of restaurants and nightclubs.

Helsinki Foodie Tour

Today's tour begins in front of the Old Market Hall (Vanha kauppahalli), where you will learn about the local cuisine. Enjoy the aromas of cured salmon, local cheese and smoked reindeer! Afterwards, your guide will give you some local's tips at the Market Square (Kauppatori). On this 2 hour walk, stroll the most beautiful streets of Helsinki center like Esplanadi and Bulevardi. Pass through the Design District Helsinki as well as the idyllic art nouveau neighborhood of Punavuori, with the tour finishing at the Hietalahti Market Hall. Here, you can experience a post tour lunch or just shopping for organic and local food delicacies. Along the way, you will get a taste of local specialties from selected special stores! You will taste the fish and sip on coffee with local pastries. The Swedish capital is built on fourteen different islands connected by 57 bridges– so it’s easy to say that you’re never far from water when you are in Stockholm. Gamla Stan, with its narrow, cobbled alleys and beautiful old houses, is one of the best preserved medieval cities of northern Europe. It’s perfect for a day of café hopping and browsing through the many charming shops that are dotted throughout the old town. Stockholm offers a fantastic selection of museums, such as the open-air museum Skansen, the maritime Vasa Museum, Fotografiska and of course, the ABBA Museum. For those who want to do an excursion outside the city, Drottningholm Palace, residence of the royal family, or picturesque Sigtuna, the oldest town in Sweden are absolute must-visits.

Stockholm City Tour

Explore Stockholm's past and present with a knowledgeable guide on today's 5 hour tour! Enjoy strolling along as they point out the best sights, attractions, popular shopping streets and gallerias. They will even be sure to tell you what is worth shopping for when you are in this exciting city. Throughout your tour, you will make stops to admire the panoramic view of the city and the seaside vistas. In the Old Town, you will walk through the narrow alleys, cobbled streets and gabled buildings. You will pass, among other historic sights, the Cathedral of Stockholm and the Royal Palace- listen as your guide tells myths and legends about this part of the city.

You will then be transferred to Stockholm's famous Vasa Museum! Vasa Museum is built around the Vasa, the world’s only surviving 17th century ship. The story of her rescue is as dramatic as her sinking- all captured in stunning detail in this exquisite museum. The museum tells the story of how she was built, how and why she sunk & how she was lifted after 333 years from the murky depths of the inlet to Stockholm and perfectly preserved for future generations to admire. Following your museum visit, you will continue to Stadshuset. Stadshuset or the City Hall was built between 1911 and 1923. It is considered one of Sweden's foremost buildings in the National Romantic style. Behind the imposing facades, built with 8 million bricks are found offices, meeting rooms and banqueting halls. In the Blue Hall, which is the building's largest hall, the Nobel Prize Banquet takes place on the 10th of December every year. (This service is on a group basis.)
