Stockholm

The Swedish capital is built on fourteen different islands connected by 57 bridges– so it’s easy to say that you’re never far from water when you are in Stockholm. Gamla Stan, with its narrow, cobbled alleys and beautiful old houses, is one of the best preserved medieval cities of northern Europe. It’s perfect for a day of café hopping and browsing through the many charming shops that are dotted throughout the old town. Stockholm offers a fantastic selection of museums, such as the open-air museum Skansen, the maritime Vasa Museum, Fotografiska and of course, the ABBA Museum. For those who want to do an excursion outside the city, Drottningholm Palace, residence of the royal family, or picturesque Sigtuna, the oldest town in Sweden are absolute must-visits.

Stockholm City Tour

Explore Stockholm's past and present with a knowledgeable guide on today's 5 hour tour! Enjoy strolling along as they point out the best sights, attractions, popular shopping streets and gallerias. They will even be sure to tell you what is worth shopping for when you are in this exciting city. Throughout your tour, you will make stops to admire the panoramic view of the city and the seaside vistas. In the Old Town, you will walk through the narrow alleys, cobbled streets and gabled buildings. You will pass, among other historic sights, the Cathedral of Stockholm and the Royal Palace- listen as your guide tells myths and legends about this part of the city.

You will then be transferred to Stockholm's famous Vasa Museum! Vasa Museum is built around the Vasa, the world’s only surviving 17th century ship. The story of her rescue is as dramatic as her sinking- all captured in stunning detail in this exquisite museum. The museum tells the story of how she was built, how and why she sunk & how she was lifted after 333 years from the murky depths of the inlet to Stockholm and perfectly preserved for future generations to admire. Following your museum visit, you will continue to Stadshuset. Stadshuset or the City Hall was built between 1911 and 1923. It is considered one of Sweden's foremost buildings in the National Romantic style. Behind the imposing facades, built with 8 million bricks are found offices, meeting rooms and banqueting halls. Dog Sledding Exploration

On this hands-on 4h dog sled tour you will learn to run your own team of huskies and get an interesting insight into the musher’s adventurous life in the last wilderness of Europe. After an introduction to equipment and safety the journey through the wintry landscape begins. Heading out across the snowy plains gives a big feeling of freedom. Halfway through the tour a traditional lunch is served at a cosy wilderness camp. The tour ends at Icehotel.(This service is on a group basis.)

Northern Lights Safari on Snowmobile & Dinner

Hunt the northern lights for 4 hourson a snowmobile. Take the snowmobile out in the wilderness where the northern lights are most visible and savor a dinner in a warm cabin. A clear sky, darkness and some patience are the best ingredients for hunting the northern lights. On this tour, you take a snowmobile out in the wilderness, where the northern lights are most visible, away from light pollution. An exciting adventure where you both get to drive a snowmobile and have a chance to see the northern lights.

You share a snowmobile, driving through the dark winter landscape, following your guide. The guide will frequently make short stops to tell you about the northern lights as a phenomenon, how it occurs, and for you to watch and have time to take your own pictures. Along the way you stop in a warm wilderness cabin where the guide serves a two-course dinner. Snowshoe Trek

A fantastic trip up on the mountain. In this area there are wild animals and traces of moose, reindeer, foxes and hares. I The trek up on the mountain takes about 45 minutes. We will have a break outdoors and have coffee/tea and sandwich. This 3h tour includes transfers to/from Kiruna city center.(This service is on a group basis.)

Although your adventure must come to an end today, you will be leaving with new friends, amazing experiences and memories to cherish for the rest of your life.
