Located on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, the Estuary of Guacalillo and the Tarcoles River offer the opportunity to observe one of the largest populations of American crocodile (Crocodylus acutus) in America, also discover the mangrove area with a high percentage biodiversity among which there is a large number of waterfowl and one of the most important conservation area of the Scarlet Macaw in the country.
Boats with up to 25 people will take you for a ride extensive mangrove ecosystem composed impressive four mangrove species, all of them represent an important nesting ground for birds that inhabit it, so that in turn represent their shelter and nutrients area for many fish and invertebrates also mangrove swamps are extremely important for marine productivity.

This morning, you'll enjoy a half day guided visit to Manuel Antonio National Park (shared basis), arguably the country's most beautiful and popular protected coastal area. The national park contains pristine white-sand beaches, hidden coves ideal for snorkeling, trails through tropical forest filled with wildlife and the landmark Punta Catedral, and towering high above the deep blue Pacific Ocean.
This afternoon, you'll be transferred back to your accommodation in Manuel Antonio to enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.
This morning you'll meet your local guide for a kayak tour through the mangroves of Damas Island (shared basis).
Kayaking through a mangrove forest to Damas Island offers a half day tour through a unique and fascinating world of tall mangroves, known as a natural nursery for fish and crustaceans, where sloths and three species of monkeys travel through the tree canopy. This paddling adventure gives you the opportunity to see the rare silky anteater, and several types of non-poisonous snakes and marine birds close up. Mid way through the trip, stop with your adventure guide and enjoy tropical fresh fruit and refreshments at a stop on the banks of Damas Island.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
This morning you will sail with us in the giant Catamaran Ocean King, the most unique, fun and hip cruise excursion in Manuel Antonio (shared basis). The Ocean King catamaran is the largest and most advanced in the country at 100 meters in length. Our professional guides will provide excellent service as you enjoy a show, the bar and music.
We stop for a refreshing dive right out off the Manuel Antonio coast for snorkeling. Our friendly and professional staff ensures the safety of everyone aboard. Keep your eye open for dolphins! Around mid-day enjoy lunch on board before returning to port and on to your hotel.
